Our menu offers an array of options, from classic espressos and creamy lattes to refreshing teas, smoothies, and freshly baked pastries, including vegan and gluten-free choices. Be sure to try our seasonal specialties. This study-friendly spot features free Wi-Fi and plenty of power outlets, making it perfect for students. Committed to sustainability, we source fair-trade beans and use eco-friendly products, often partnering with local charities and student organizations for events. Open daily, Kahawa Coffee is your ideal destination to relax, study, or connect with the campus community.
Huston Hall / Dining Room
Now, let’s head over to Huston Hall. Feeling hungry? This is where the magic happens! Our spacious dining room is designed to be welcoming and comfortable. We have a wonderful chef and kitchen staff that cater our dining options to various dietary needs and preferences, offering hot meals, sandwiches, salads, dessert, and snacks. Whether you’re in the mood for a hot meal, a quick sandwich, a fresh salad, or just a snack, we’ve got you covered. But Huston Hall is more than just a place to eat – it’s where you’ll share laughs, make plans, and create lasting memories with your fellow students.
Bultema Memorial Library
Next up is the Bultema Memorial Library. This place is a treasure trove of knowledge, with an extensive collection of books, journals, and electronic resources. We’re particularly strong in theology, ministry, and Christian education materials. But don’t worry if you’re not a big reader – we’ve got plenty of study spaces, computer workstations, and even printing and copying services. Need help writing a paper or tutoring services the library is designed to support you every step of your academic journey.
Jack T. Dean Academic Center
Let’s head over to the Jack T. Dean Academic Center. This is where you’ll be spending most of your class time. Named after our former president, this building is all about modern, innovative learning. We’ve got classrooms, student prayer room, computer labs, video and audio recording studios, and study spaces, all equipped with the latest technology. But don’t let the word ‘academic’ fool you – our spaces are designed to promote collaboration and hands-on learning experiences.
O’Hair Administration Building
The O’Hair Administration Building is the operational backbone of Grace Christian University. It houses essential administrative offices, including Financial Aid, Enrollment, Advancement, Talent Management, Business Office, and the Office of the President. This building ensures that the university runs smoothly and efficiently, supporting both students and staff. You’ll be grateful for the hardworking folks in there.
Baker Chapel
Baker Chapel is the spiritual heart of our campus. Named after Charles F. Baker, another former president, this is the spiritual center of our campus. The chapel is where the community gathers for worship, prayer, and spiritual growth. Featuring a beautiful stained-glass window and modern audio-visual equipment, the chapel offers a serene and inspiring environment for worship services and spiritual events.
Aldrich Athletic Center
Sports fans, this next stop is for you! Welcome to the Aldrich Athletic Center. This well-loved facility is the hub for all our sports and athletic activities. We’ve got a full fitness center, a regulation-sized basketball court, training room and locker rooms. Whether you’re into basketball, volleyball, or need to hit the training room, this is the place to be. And it’s not just for varsity athletes – all students, faculty, and staff are welcome to stay active here.
Velting Field
Named after Jim and Phyllis Velting, Velting Field is a well-manicured playing surface with bleacher seating for spectators. It is a place where student-athletes can develop their skills and compete at a high level. We’ve got bleacher seating for spectators, so it’s a great place to come support our teams and show your Grace Christian spirit!
Grace Townhomes
Our Grace Townhomes offer that home-away-from-home feel, perfect for upperclassmen looking for a bit more independence. These spacious units have full kitchens, laundry facilities, and two large bedrooms that can accommodate up to four students. It’s a great way to experience more independent living while still being right here on campus.
Residence Halls
Our residence halls are designed to create a comfortable and supportive living environment right in the heart of campus. This is where lifelong friendships are born. Each room is thoughtfully designed to be both functional and homey. Living on campus really puts you at the center of university life, and trust me, the connections you’ll make here will last a lifetime.
