GCU Softball Adds Erin Viles-Gable

Apr 26, 2023 | Athletics, Softball

Grand Rapids, MI – Coach Jeremy Clark has been hard at work putting together his starting roster for the Grace softball program set to debut this upcoming year. Coach Clark’s latest signing includes Fulton high school Erin Viles-Gable.

Erin posted a .345 batting average with her travel team last season as well as drawing 11 walks.

“I chose GCU because I thought this would really give me a chance to keep getting closer to God while also working on my career and playing the sport I love.” Additionally, Erin adds, “It’s hard to believe that by next fall I will be doing more than I could dream of.”

Coach Clark remarks, “Renee is positive, full of energy and has a high motor.  Not only is she a skilled, multi-position softball player, but she is a quality person who will bring a lot to the campus.”
