Alumni Spotlight: Adam Yungeberg

Jul 31, 2023 | Alumni

“My time at Grace has strengthened my faith in ways I never knew existed.”

Adam Yungeberg is a 2021 online graduate of Grace Christian University. He earned his B.S. in Leadership and Ministry, with an emphasis in Pastoral Studies. Adam and his beautiful wife of 12 years live in Barnes, Kansas on her family farm. Adam is also a veteran of the US Army.

When asked what stood out to him during his time at Grace, Adam mentioned “the wonderful, lifelong friends who are now as close as family.”

Adam says that the classes he most enjoyed were the ones that allowed him to more thoroughly study the Old and New Testament. “They all helped my faith grow so much, but the one that opened my eyes and heart the most was the class that covered the life and ministry of Paul.”

Adam shared that it was William A. Horton who was the first to inspire Adam to pursue his graduate degree. “Not only was he the facilitator for two of my classes, but he is pursuing a doctorate at the same time. Just the confidence he gave me meant a tremendous amount to me,” Adam shared. “My time at Grace has strengthened my faith in ways I never knew existed. I am a stronger Christian and a better husband because of my time at Grace. Because of what I have learned, I have more faith in God and myself to pursue the ministry options He places in my life.”
