Student Outcome Data

Student Outcome Data

Grace Christian University has three distinct academic programs:  its on-campus undergraduate program, its online undergraduate program, and its online graduate program.  The Retention Dashboard has proven to be a helpful tool in monitoring retention, persistence, and graduation across all the programs since 2011. The Retention Dashboard establishes cohorts for each semester, with enrollment then tracked for the next semester, the next year, and ultimately completion.  Based on data from the Retention Dashboard, the following actuals and goals can be reported for each academic program:

On-Campus Undergraduate Program

Enroll the Next Semester Enroll the Next Year 150% Degree Completion
Retention/Persistence Goals 90% 70% 54%
Actual 86% 65% 48%

Online Undergraduate Program

Enroll the Next Semester Enroll the Next Year 150% Degree Completion
Retention/Persistence Goals 68% 50% 33%
Actual 63% 44% 29%

Graduate Online Program

Retention/Persistence Goals 95% 75% 75%
Actual 89% 70% 54%*

* Actual Degree Completion does not include the graduate students who are “still enrolled/not yet complete,” which means the overall degree completion rate may continue to rise to as high as 69%.
