Cross Country Announces 2023 Meet Schedule

Cross Country
Wyoming, MI – The Grace Christian cross country team prepares for another solid campaign. The Tigers are coming off a 2022 season that saw 4 runners place in the top 20 at nationals, led by freshman Kierra Flegel who placed 12th overall in the country.

The Tigers will have 6 races before heading off to nationals in November. Several of the larger meets this season will be at Central Michigan, Northwood University, and Eastern Michigan. The team will also travel to Louisville, KY for the Live in Lou XC Classic, a race hosted by the NCAA at large.

“We hope to continue in our success this year,” Coach Verwey stated. “We’ve got some strong returners and we’re adding a good freshman runner on the women’s side.”

Look for the Tigers cross country team to keep on an upward trajectory this fall.
