Shepherd, MI – The Grace Christian University cross country teams kicked off their 2024 season at Central Michigan University’s “Jeff Drenth Memorial Invitational” on Friday and wasted no time finding their first two national qualifiers. Facing host CMU, Eastern Michigan University, Michigan State University, Alma, Concordia, Lansing Community College, and Cornerstone, the Tigers women’s team had the perfect opportunity to run fast times on a flat course with top notch competition. Despite early morning rain and high humidity, two Tigers punched their ticket to Nationals by the end of the 5k race.
