Grace Basketball Adds MCC’s, Logan Manciu

May 26, 2023 | Athletics, Men's Basketball

WYOMING, MI. – The Grace Christian Basketball team is adding another experienced player after two years in the JUCO ranks. This time signing, Logan Manciu from Muskegon Community College.

Logan, a graduate of Fruitport High School, spent his last two years at Muskegon Community College. After red-shirting his first year, last season at MCC, he helped lead his team to a national tournament appearance as a starter.

In his sophomore season Logan had some impressive statistics. Scoring 90pts, 138 rebounds and recorded 8 blocks.

On the addition of Logan to the ’23 class, coach Krombeen commented: “Logan will bring a lot to the Tigers over the next three years. His ability to find openings and finish near the rim offensively, communicate defensively, and consistently crash the boards will no doubt benefit the program.”

Logan added some comments of his own about why he chose Grace: “I chose Grace because every time I come to the campus it feels like home. The guys are so welcoming and everyone cares about you, it’s like a family. On the basketball side of things, it’s team basketball, everyone plays together and has a positive attitude. There’s no place I’d rather be!”

Welcome, Logan!
