Today, six young people, from the fourth grade to the ninth grade, wandered onto the campus of a Bible College in Grand Rapids.  Their names were Ower, Emmanuel, Amal, Roger, Omar, and Angel.  They were just looking for something to do.   On most campuses, at this point in the week, they would have been out of luck.  But, this campus is not like most campuses!

In looking around, they saw that a new Disc Golf Course was being built.  The designers, Elmer Cox and Michele Ramon, happened to be working on the premises at the time.  They asked the boys if they knew how to play disc golf.  “No”, was their reply.   Michele, saw a couple of students sitting with a friend, not far away, just enjoying the afternoon.   She went over to them and asked them if they would teach the boys a little about the game.  An excited “Yes” was the reply.  “we were sitting here wandering how to approach the young boys without scaring them”, they said.

They then took the boys and played three holes with them, showing them how to throw discs and what the game was all about.  They provided the boys with discs to throw and then took them out for pizza!  Friends were made and six young boys were introduced to Jesus Christ.  Their boring afternoon was turned into an adventure that just might change their lives!
