Grace softball welcomes local talent JosMary Vazquez

Grand Rapids, MI – Wyoming Lee softball standout and 3rd baseman JosMary Vazquez will be joining the Grace Christian University roster this upcoming fall. JosMary comes from parents Lynect and Jose Vazquez. Vazquez also has four siblings; Joselynn, Josmayra, Jose Jr., and Joshua Vazquez.

Off the field, Vazquez maintains a GPA over 3.2 as well as being named to the Honor Roll, Most Improved, Principal Honor Roll, and Dean’s List. She is also involved in Legendary Leaders, Spanish Club, Student Officer, and Yearbook Club as well as volunteering at her church.

“I am extremely excited and blessed to be able to play for and attend GCU and excited to see what’s in store for me. I want to thank coach Jeremy for giving me a chance,” adds Vazquez, who also stated with excitement, “I’m ready to play my heart out.”

Coach Jeremy Clark adds, “Mary is a hard-working, conscientious student-athlete who is always finding ways to improve her game.  We are excited to have her on campus and help us build Grace’s new softball program!”
