Grace Volleyball Adds Midland Dow Standout, Taryn Williams

Midland, MI – Grace Christian University Volleyball adds another signee for the Fall 2023 squad! Taryn joins the Tigers after a successful career at Midland Dow High School. 
Taryn brings height to the Tigers as a 5’10 player on the outside. She’s the daughter to Nick and Marnie Williams. Siblings include Jayden Williams and Tiffany Williams. 

On top of her experience at Midland Dow HS, Taryn also played club volleyball for Mid-Michigan Aces. 

Some of her accolades include being named most-valuable player for four years at Mid-MI Aces. She also earned the highest hitting % as a senior on her HS team. 

When asked about why she chose Grace, Taryn mentioned. “Grace has a great criminal justice program!”. 

Coach Shultz also added some comments about Taryn’s addition to the Tiger squad: “Taryn’s energy on the volleyball court is amazing, and her positive personality is something that will help the team succeed! I’m excited to add her outside-hitting skill to the team as well. She is a great fit for our family!”
