JV explodes in first half, hits 15-win mark

Wyoming, MI – The Grace JV men’s basketball team moved to 15-7 over the weekend after a convincing 86-70 win over Campbellsville-Harrodsburg at the Aldrich Athletic Center.

The Tigers started the game off on fire, dominating the first 20 minutes to result in a 50-29 halftime lead. The second half was not as crisp for the Tigers, but their advantage remained comfortable throughout as they coasted to the 16 point win.

Ethan Clasen led the Tigers with 19 points on the day, which were all scored in the first half with the Pioneers hounding him on defense in the second half to leave scoring opportunities for others. Micah Cramer added 13 points and 5 assists and Elisha Moore pitched in 10. Adam Rearick scored 8 points, pulled down 14 rebounds, and blocked 5 shots.

The Tigers return to the court on Tuesday against Great Lakes Christian College at Little Caesars Arena. Tip off will be at approximately 2:45 pm.
