The Tigers seemed to be in full control of the game for the first thirty minutes, holding a comfortable lead throughout and they were in front by as many as 26 points. The Crusaders would go on a tear in the late stages of the second half and closed all the way in and found themselves with a chance to tie with under 5 seconds remaining. A put back lay-in would fall off the rim and the Tigers would tip it away as the buzzer sounded, and they held on for a 75-73 win on the big stage.
Ethan Clasen led the Tigers with 22 points on the day. Adam Rearick stuffed the stat sheet and flirted with a triple-double with 9 points, 11 rebounds, and 8 assists.
The Tigers move to 16-7 on the season and will take the court again this upcoming Saturday at Dayspring Bible College.
