Rawls, Bridgeforth lift Tigers to win over #3 Great Lakes

Wyoming, MI – The Grace Christian University men’s basketball team moved to 7-0 in the NCCAA DII Thursday night after one of their top performances of the season in a showdown with NCCAA #3 ranked Great Lakes Christian College. The Tigers led from start to finish, defeating the Crusaders 99-84 in front of a packed Aldrich Athletic Center crowd.

It was a spectacular performance from the Grace backcourt, with J.D. Rawls scoring a career high 30 points and Kellum Bridgeforth scoring 25 points and pulling down 11 rebounds.

The Tigers follow up with another NCCAA DII Top 10 match-up against regional opponent Simmons College (KY) tonight at 7:00 pm. Kellum Bridgeforth and Cole Powell will be honored prior to the game, as they take the Aldrich Athletic Center court for their final home game on Senior Night.
