Investing In Your Potential
Pursuing a master’s degree has been a personal goal of mine for as long as I can remember. It wasn’t tied to a specific job or requirement but rooted in a desire to keep growing, learning, and being stretched in ways I knew I had the potential for. I didn’t realize at the time that the decision to take that step would eventually lead me here, working alongside my wonderful team of online enrollment specialists, with the privilege of walking alongside students as they begin exploring that same journey for themselves.
Moving Beyond “Someday”
Earning a master’s degree is an idea that many of us hold as a life goal. Career advancement, personal growth, and an intellectual challenge.
But the “right time” never seems to come. Between work, family, and the things wrapped up in all we call “life,” this goal that was once in the 5-year plan becomes a “someday maybe.” After walking alongside online students for over half a decade, I’ve noticed something that may surprise you. It’s usually not time or money that ultimately holds people back, but the decision to begin. This is understandable because even if time can be carved out and finances set aside, students ultimately want to make the wisest decision. Which involves asking the questions:
Would now be a wise time for me to start?
Does this make sense as a financial investment?
Which program is the best fit for my goals?
What school is the right choice for me?
Removing the Risk
These are big questions! When thinking about how we can help take the risk out of the first big step, we came up with an unconventional idea.

For some of our degrees, 1 class is 1/10th of the degree. In just 6 weeks and for no tuition, your “degree loading” bar would be at 10%. That is a big step towards your goal.
