Nov 9, 2022 | Softball

Wyoming, MI – Grace Christian University Softball is excited to announce its first commitment of the 2023 class, Hannah Hooker! Hannah joins the Tigers as the 2nd recruit for this new program!
Hannah is a 3-year varsity player with a fielding percentage of .857 and a .400 batting average. Has received a Scholar Athlete award in the Flint Metro League and is a member of the national honor society.

Hannah had this to say about joining the Tigers inaugural softball program; “I chose GCU because of how welcoming the campus was along with how small the class sizes were as well, I think that it would be a very fun opportunity to help establish GCU’s softball program as well”. Hannah will be graduating from Lake Fenton High School in Fenton, MI with the support of her parents Leah and Eric Hooker and sister Sidney Hooker.

When asked, Coach Clark had this to say about Hannah’s commitment to the Tigers; “Hannah is a solid hitter while playing multiple positions in the field.  She puts in the extra work and pays attention to the details.  Her attitude, skill, and work ethic are great additions to Grace Softball”.

Welcome, Hannah!
