Women’s Soccer drops two in Kentucky

Sep 8, 2026 | Women's Soccer

Pippas Passes, KY – Following their season opening win at home against the Ohio Christian Trailblazers, Women’s soccer headed on the road over the weekend to Kentucky to take on Alice Lloyd College and Kentucky Christian University.

On Thursday the Tigers would take on Alice Lloyd College. Unfortunately Alice Lloyd would jump out to an early lead and remain in the driver’s seat throughout the match. Scoring three goals in each half to take a 6-0 lead. The Tigers would find one of their own late in the second half but ultimately fall 6-1 to start the road trip.

On Saturday the Tigers would finish out their road trip at Kentucky Christian University. The Knights would jump out to an early lead just 2 minutes into the game before adding a second goal early in the second half. The Tigers would create a couple of scoring chances for themselves but unfortunately were not able to find the back of the net. KCU would go on to win 3-0.

The Tigers return to Velting Field, Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 10AM to take on Ripon College.
