This creative course is designed to prepare students to participate in and develop a church drama group. Participants will learn to evaluate and find materials appropriate for use in the church, to involve adults, teens, and children in drama, and to incorporate drama into a worship service or sermon. Topics will include history and foundations of drama, oral interpretation, improvisations, monologues, group presentation of Scripture and liturgy, and excellence versus mediocrity in performance.
