Scholarships and grants are the most desirable types of funding to receive since they don’t need to be repaid. Scholarships are awarded by the University and/or other outside sources, while grants come from Federal and State sources.
A recipient of a Grace Christian University institutional scholarship must be enrolled full-time on Grace’s campus. Scholarship amounts are divided equally into two semesters, fall and spring. Students who are dual enrolled with Grace and another institution may have some scholarships prorated.

$500 ($250 per semester) is awarded to incoming college Freshmen who have attended and completed one or more High School Dual Enrollment courses with Grace Christian University. Eligible students must notify their Enrollment Advisor upon completion of their Enrollment Application.

Student must be enrolled full-time (at least 12 credits). Student must be a dependent of a Christian worker who is employed FULL TIME serving the Lord;
a) In a GGF affiliated ministry, or parachurch organization, approved by the Scholarship Committee.
b) Pastor of GGF affiliated church or ordained by the GGF who is pastoring a Grace church (in GGF directory)
c) As a missionary with Things to Come Ministry.
This scholarship requires a letter from the organization, written on their letterhead, indicating which family member is employed full-time with the organization. This scholarship is not available to dependents of part time workers, or volunteers. Exceptions to be approved by the Scholarship Committee.
After the fourth semester, a student must have earned an accumulative GPA of 2.00 to remain eligible for this scholarship.
Student must be enrolled full-time (at least 12 credits). Student must be a dependent of a Christian worker who is employed FULL TIME serving the Lord in a ministry. Examples of ministries include the pastorate, youth camps, home or offshore missions, parachurch organizations, and Christian education (K-12, college, etc.).
This scholarship requires a letter from the organization, written on their letterhead, indicating which family member is employed full-time with the organization. This scholarship is not available to dependents of part-time workers, or volunteers. Exceptions to be approved by the Scholarship Committee.

This is a great way for a student’s home church to help them with college finances. Churches can provide any dollar amount, and Grace Christian University will match up to $500 per year ($250 per semester) for undergraduate students enrolled 6 hours or more. Note: Grace Christian University does business in US dollars, therefore all payments received are processed in US dollars.
$1000 ($500 per semester) – The student and the Alumni parent must complete the scholarship application. The student must be a dependent child of a Grace Alumni. Eligibility is restricted to only Alumni who completed 60 or more credit hours at Grace. Student is not eligible if Alumni parent owes a balance to Grace. This scholarship is not available to dependents of faculty/staff.
$2,500 ($1,250 per semester) – This scholarship is available to students who are a dependent of any Grace Part Time Employee who has worked at Grace for at least 90 days. Student must have a 2.00 Cumulative GPA by the 4th semester. Scholarship is awarded for Grace credits only, and will be prorated for less than full time enrollment at Grace. To verify eligibility, the student must contact the Financial Aid Office.
$500 ($250 per semester) is awarded to all entering students who submit their application on or before October 1st during their senior year in high school.
Students must be enrolled full time (12 or more credits per semester on the Grace campus). Students must be a first time freshman to be eligible. The chart below is for the 2019-20 award year and is subject to change each new award year.

$1200 ($600 per semester) This scholarship is a one-time scholarship for an incoming student who has completed a Junior Achievement (JA) course in high school. The student is responsible to notify the school about the award by providing documentation, such as a letter from JA, or a letter from the high school, indicating that the student has successfully completed the JA course. Recipient must be enrolled full time on Grace campus.
$500 per year ($250 per semester) will be awarded if two or more dependent students from one family (living in the same household) are attending Grace Christian University. Those receiving the Christian Worker’s Scholarship are not eligible. This scholarship is prorated for Grace credit hours only.
This scholarship is available for students enrolled in the Worship Arts Program, and over 4 years eligible students could be awarded up to $9600!
Beginning in the Fall 2018 semester, award amounts are $2000 per year ($1000 per semester), or $2400 per year ($1200 per semester). Eligibility is based on a music audition (either in person or through YouTube), a completed application with personal essay, and an interview (either in person or via phone) with the Worship Arts Chair. Awards are determined by the WA Chair. Recipients must be enrolled as a full-time student (12 or more credits).
To continue eligibility each year, returning students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better in their Worship Arts courses. In addition, scholarship recipients must be active, contributing members of the Worship Arts Division. This includes participation in annual Gloria and Good News concerts, chapel worship leading experiences each semester, and ensemble and ministry team opportunities both on and off campus.

$3,000 ($1,500 per semester) – Up to 10 scholarships will be awarded each year to a high school graduate from one of the following high schools in Wyoming, MI: Godfrey-Lee, Godwin Heights, Kelloggsville, The Potter’s House, West Michigan Lutheran, and Wyoming Public. Students must enroll at Grace either the year of high school graduation or the year after high school graduation. Student must be enrolled full time, maintain satisfactory academic progress and continue in good standing according to Grace’s student handbook.
$2,500 ($1,250 per semester) – This scholarship is available to any Grace Adjunct professor (or spouse of an Adjunct professor), if the Adjunct professor is teaching three or more credit hours. If a recipient is also eligible for the Returning Student Scholarship, then only the greater of the two scholarships will be awarded. Student must have a 2.00 Cumulative GPA by the 4th semester. Scholarship is prorated for less than full time enrollment. To verify eligibility, the student must contact the Financial Aid Office.
Eligibility for receiving this award is based on the student’s final cumulative GPA, chapel attendance and ministry requirements. To qualify, students must be registered before the Spring registration deadline, which is set by the Registrar. Students must be enrolled full time at Grace Christian University. Dual Degree students are eligible, but students who are Dual Degree with GRCC will have their awards prorated based on the amount of Grace courses they take.

Spouses of a full time students with Junior standing or above are eligible for 50% off of one course in the Traditional program each semester. If a married couple are both attending Grace full time in the same semester, and are both of Junior standing or above, then both spouses will receive 1/2 off one traditional course.
