Coach

Eric Zudweg

Coach Zudweg is a graduate of Tri-Unity Christian High School where he was an All-Conference Baseball and Basketball player. He moved on to Grace Christian University and Davenport University where he received his dual-degrees with a major in Sport Management. He is currently working on his Master of Business Administration from Grace Christian University. 

Zudweg has spent the last 10 years coaching hundreds of players in golf, basketball and baseball. In addition to his position with the GCU Golf Team, he also currently serves as the Varsity Baseball Coach at Grand Rapids Union High School since 2019. He has recently spent time coaching basketball as an Assistant JV Basketball Coach at Tri-Unity Christian. In Golf, Eric previously served as the Grand Rapids Union Girls Golf Coach for 2 years and was also on the first ever Grace Christian Golf Team in 2022 as a graduate student where he led the way for the Tigers as their number 1 and holds the current school record of 78 in tournament play. 

"I am ecstatic to be able to take over the golf program here at Grace. While we are still a new program, I am excited for the signings we have made this season and think we are making some great progress in building a competitive team. It is an honor to be able to lead this program and I look forward to coaching and working with our current and future Grace Tigers."

Eric is married to his wife, Alex, and they reside in Shelbyville, MI. He currently works as a Real Estate Agent for Icon Realty Group. His hobbies include playing softball, golfing, camping, and kayaking.
