Colton Wolfe

2023: In year two of Grace Christian's Baseball program, the Tigers more than doubled their win total from the previous year, finishing with a record of 8-33. Several key wins included an 8-4 extra-inning win against IUPUC, as well as a 17-15 win later in the year against IUPUC where the Tigers blasted a program record of 6 home runs in a single game. Improvements were made in nearly every area, program records were re-written, and Wolfe continues to move the program in the right direction.

2022: In the team's inaugural season program, Wolfe notched his first collegiate coaching win in a 16-2 victory over Maranatha Baptist University on 4/22/22. The squad finished the year at 3-37, and set a strong foundation for the upcoming years.

Wolfe had a spectacular collegiate career at Calvin College, where he set Calvin's career and single season home run records (26 and 12), as well as the MIAA conference career home run record (23). He garnered All-MIAA conference honors twice, as well as D3 All-Region honors. He went on to play professionally for the White Sands Pupfish in the Pecos League and batted .273 with 6 home runs in 31 games.

Upon graduating with his bachelor's degree in Sports Management in 2017, Wolfe spent two years as an Assistant Coach at Cairn University and helped them reach their first NCAA D3 conference tournament while completing his master's degree in Organizational Leadership.

Coach Wolfe is now entering his 3rd season as Head Coach of the baseball program. In addition to coaching at Grace, he is also the Assistant Athletic Director, Sports Information Director, and an adjunct professor of Sports Management. Wolfe currently resides in Grand Rapids with his wife, Paige. In his free time, Wolfe enjoys hiking, camping, and playing golf.
