Ryan Krombeen

Ryan Krombeen is in his second year as the Head Coach for the Tigers. Krombeen was a key player on four Grace NCCAA DII National Championship teams from 2009 to 2012, serving as captain from 2010-2012. He received All-Midwest Region honors in each of his last three seasons as a Tiger, and he also was named to the NCCAA All-Tournament team in 2010. As for team awards, Krombeen earned MVP honors his senior season in 2012 and was honored with the Tiger Award in 2010 after his sophomore year. Accumulating 1385 points throughout his career, Krombeen’s name is 9th on the All-Time scorers list. He also is third in three other categories: career rebounds (906), assists (472), and blocks (118). In 2019, Krombeen was inducted as a player into the Grace Christian athletics Hall of Fame.

Krombeen has been heavily involved with Grace Athletics since he left the court as a player; first as an Assistant Coach for the varsity men’s basketball team from 2012 to 2013, and then as JV Head Coach from 2015-22.

Ryan is married to wife Hannah Krombeen, and they reside in Wyoming, MI with their two kids, Madelyn and Tyler. He is currently the P.E. teacher at Grandville Christian Elementary school.
