WYOMING, Mich. – The Grace Christian University women’s volleyball team split a pair of NCCAA Midwest Region road matches over the weekend, falling in a close contest at Moody Bible Institute on Friday before bouncing back with a victory over Maranatha Baptist University on Saturday.
“The weekend proved to challenge our consistency in serve receive and attacking. It also showed we are developing some more grit in tight games and pressure scenarios. After a close loss to Moody we had a more consistent game the next day to come out with a win versus Maranatha,” said Grace coach Kerri Shultz.
The weekend provided another opportunity for the Tigers to continue developing as they work through the final stretch of their regular season schedule, which continues this weekend at home.
Up Next:Â Grace returns home to the Aldrich Athletic Center on Friday, October 23, to face Montcalm Community College at 5:30 PM, followed by a Saturday matchup against Great Lakes Christian College at 4:00 PM.
