There’s an Opportunity for You!

Cultivating student growth is one of the focal points of Community Life at Grace. Everyone has the ability to lead in some capacity. Take the next step in your leadership by leading a group or serving on a leadership team.

Opportunities to Serve

Student Leadership Opportunities

Resident Assistant

RAs are hired by Community Life and live in the resident halls in order to serve the students living there. RAs also organize student activities, lead small groups, and look after the general well-being of all Grace students.

Student Mentor

Mentorship Programs include:

  •  Upperclassman to underclassmen or staff to student mentor program for women. 
  •  Upperclassman to underclassmen or staff to student mentor program for men.

Academic Success Coach

Academic Success Coaches can assist with assignments and provide tutoring to other students. This is a great way to help fellow students achieve their academic goals.  For more information on how you can get involved contact Erinn Huebner ehuebner@gracechristian.edu or (616) 264-6660.

Paper Reviewer

Student Government Member

Anyone can volunteer to be part of a Student Government sub-committee. This is a great way to get involved with setting up activities on campus and helping to positively shape the school year! Follow @studgovgcu on Instagram.

Student Government President

This leader is selected by his/her graduating class to help lead them in a servant manner in order to create a great year both on and off campus. There are approximately 3-4 representatives from each graduating class.

Chapel Worship Leader & Band Members

Join the Worship team to lead students in worship during the chapel services. These roles are chosen by the Worship Arts faculty and staff.

Chapel Tech Team

Chapel Tech Team helps with the production of chapel live streaming, audio mixing, camera operation, and media presentation.

On-Campus Internships

Students can lead their peers and grow their leadership and professional skills by doing an internship on campus. Opportunities include Internships with Community Life, Athletics, Campus Pastor, and more.

Team Captains

Athletes can embrace increased responsibilities and grow in leadership by stepping up to lead their peers as a team captain.

Student Organizations

Students are encouraged to take on leadership roles within a number of student-led organizations. These roles offer opportunities to support peers, shape campus activities, and unity within the community. Students develop leadership skills while contributing to growth of themselves and their fellow classmates.

On-Campus Employment

Students have the opportunity to learn leadership skills through on-campus employment opportunities.  We offer a variety of roles and internships where students can gain leadership experience and learn skills that will help them in their future career.
