JV starts season 1-1 leading into home opener next week

The JV men’s basketball team split their first week of action 1-1, falling to the Bethel University Pilots in Indiana and turning things around to defeat a very solid Spring Arbor University team on Tuesday, 80-67.

Freshman Roy Fogg enjoyed a breakout game against the Cougars of Spring Arbor, scoring a season-high 27 points for the Tigers.

Next up for the JV is a rematch against Spring Arbor at their Aldrich Athletic Center home opener on Wednesday, November 1st. Tip-off will be at 4:00 pm, followed by the varsity game at 6:00 pm and a women’s basketball game at 8:00 pm.
