Is Grace's campus safe?
Ensuring a secure environment is one of our top priorities. And we’re proud to say that Grace was ranked the #1 Safest College Campus in Michigan by Niche in 2024!Â
Our dedicated campus security team, comprised of both students and staff, diligently monitors our well-lit campus around the clock. In addition, the Wyoming Police Department, conveniently located just one minute away, provides an added layer of safety and support. With our comprehensive security camera system capturing footage 24/7, we maintain optimal vigilance to safeguard our community. As with any public space, we encourage students to prioritize safety by practicing common measures such as walking in pairs and securing personal belongings.
What are the chapel requirements?
Chapel serves as a pillar of our campus community, providing a sacred space for collective worship and spiritual growth. At Grace, we prioritize spiritual development through three weekly chapel events, commencing at 9:45 am on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. While attendance is mandatory for all students, allowances are made based on each student’s class load. Off-campus students are required to attend chapel only on days they have classes directly preceding or following the service. This commitment to chapel attendance reflects our dedication to fostering a vibrant and spiritually enriching campus culture.
Can I have a car on campus? Is there a parking fee?
All Grace Christian University students are eligible to have a car on campus. There are no parking fees for students, but we ask that you register your vehicle and display a parking sticker. Please see the Student Handbook for our parking policies.
