2026-27 Women’s Basketball Roster | 2026-27 Women’s Basketball Schedule
WYOMING, Mich. – The Grace Christian University women’s basketball team is set to begin its 2026-27 season this Friday, October 23. The Tigers welcome Bryant & Stratton College to the Aldrich Athletic Center for a 3:00 PM tipoff. Grace will return to action the following afternoon. The will host Calumet College of St. Joseph on Saturday at 1:00 PM.
New Roster
Head Coach Dennis Graham leads the Tigers into the new season. The roster features a combination of experienced upperclassmen and younger players looking to make their mark. Graham is joined on the sidelines by Associate Head Coach, AJ Stanley, and Assistant Coach, Brittany Summerfield.
Grace’s roster includes senior guards, Kyla Smith and Maddy Terry. They are joined by graduate student, Ashley Hoek, returning for her final year of eligibility, who gives the Tigers a 6’3″ presence in the post. The Tigers also feature a strong junior class. They include Grace Chinavare, Emilee Klacking, DK Scott, Jordyn Lawrence, and returning leading scorer Sierra Fonseca. Sophomores Hali Butkovich and Jaiden Sharrow round out the roster – both key players on last year’s team as freshmen.
New Schedule
The Tigers will face a challenging schedule that features a mix of NAIA competition and familiar NCCAA opponents. Following their opening weekend, Grace will travel across town to face Cornerstone University on November 3. Then they return home for matchups against Mount Mary University (November 7) and Madonna University (November 11).
Grace will also travel to Dubuque, Iowa, for games against Trinity Bible College and Emmaus University on November 13-14. Other notable contests before Christmas include matchups with Kuyper College, Great Lakes Christian College, Simmons College of Kentucky, and Central Christian College of the Bible.
The Tigers will have plenty of opportunities to play in front of their home crowd, particularly during a January stretch that features five consecutive games at the Aldrich Athletic Center. That stretch includes contests against Welch College, Bob Jones University, Kuyper College, Maranatha Baptist University, and Alice Lloyd College.
Grace will close out the regular season with a pair of road games at Maranatha Baptist University on February 19-20 before turning its attention to postseason play. The NCCAA Midwest Regional Tournament is scheduled for February 25-27 at Kuyper College in Grand Rapids.
