Wyoming, MI – The Grace tennis team celebrated their 2022 season recently in the President’s Room on campus, gathering one last time as a unit and presented individual team awards.
“It was a great season for Grace Tennis,” said Head Coach Jon Bushen after his first year at the helm. “We learned a lot, improved substantially, bonded as a team, and made it through a tough spring season (due to weather). We are stronger and better for it, and look forward to next year and continuing to improve and grow our program”
The Tigers women’s team finished on a high note, with a win over Lourdes University, any carry that momentum and a lot of improvement into the 2022-23 season.
“How you end one season, determines how you begin the next, and we are looking forward to what is next for Grace Tennis,” added Coach Bushen.
Award winners were as follows:
Women
MVP – Mikyala Reynolds
Most Improved Player – Christelle Akanashenge & Haley Pilka
Tiger Spirit Award – Ellie Glass
