Health Science Faculty (On-Campus Adjunct)
Grace Christian University is seeking to expand course offerings in the Health Science field. Grace is looking for a motivated candidate with student-centered teaching experience to develop and teach courses such as Nutrition, Exercise Conditioning, Personal Training, and Physiology of Sport and Exercise. This is an opportunity to teach Health Science through a biblical perspective.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A master’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution with a major in Health Science, Exercise & Nutrition, or related field
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to undergraduate teaching and student-centered learning
- Knowledge of and commitment to Grace Christian University’s mission, core values, vision, and statement of faith

STAFF POSITIONS
Enrollment Advisor (On-Campus)
Reports to: Director of Enrollment (On- Campus)
Department: Enrollment
Status: Full-time, Non- Exempt

Summary
The Enrollment Advisor has a crucial role in the recruitment process of students for Grace Christian University. Their primary responsibility is to attract and encourage potential students to enroll in the University. They achieve this by building relationships with external parties, promoting the efficiency of the Enrollment Department, and providing exceptional customer service through phone calls, text messages, and email correspondence with prospective students.
The Enrollment Advisor is also responsible for representing the University’s community and values while guiding potential students toward enrollment. This role requires excellent communication and presentation skills, as the advisor will need to make presentations to groups and communicate to prospective students. Additionally, the Enrollment Advisor will need to coordinate with other University departments to ensure a smooth enrollment process for students.
Overall, the Enrollment Advisor plays a vital role in the University’s growth and success by attracting and recruiting students who align with the institution’s mission and values.
Essential Duties:
- Build Relationships with prospective students and their families to guide them toward Grace Christian University.
- Mastery of academic offerings, and admission process.
- Build relationships with middle schools, high schools, and colleges
- Travels to speak to groups and/or individual students, meets with school counselors and administrators to promote Grace Christian University programs and outreach activities within assigned territory
- Manages and coordinates community workshops, retreats, and recruitment efforts
- Arranges visits and tours for prospective students and parents.
- Provides career and academic counseling, planning, and advising to potential students utilizing specific knowledge of the university educational programs and degrees
- Creates, packages, monitors and distributes resource materials for student recruitment and retention programs
- Collect documentation and follow-up with applicant students in order to procure admission.
- Participate in assessment creation, data tracking, and institutional effectiveness initiatives for the Enrollment Department (On-Campus)
- Build connections between Grace Christian University and community colleges/universities to create resources to benefit our transfer student population
- Provide liaison services to other College offices including Financial Aid, Student Affairs, Career Services, and the Registrar
- Demonstrate initiative to develop new lead sources or expand on current recruitment practices.
- Reflect a strong team approach and cultural competency at work.
- Strong understanding and use of CRM for managing student journeys.
- Support marketing efforts: being in Social Media posts, recorded presentations, photos, etc.
- This role includes occasional work during Nights and Weekends.

Academic Advisor

Summary
The Academic Advisor responsibilities include implementing proactive strategies to help online students stay on track and fulfill their educational goals. Advisors build supportive and personalized relationships with students, provide resources to manage student’s day-to-day expectations, and provide them with opportunities to stay connected to our community. They advise students on policies and procedures, programs, degree requirements, and related academic matters; and work closely with other support teams to ensure that student inquiries are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
Essential Duties:
- All employees have an element of responsibility to aid in the recruitment and retention of students.
- Maintain ongoing communication via multiple communication portals (telephone, email, text, social media, etc.) with students.
- Collaborate with students to determine education plan and course needs.
- Serve as the primary guide to ensure that students stay on track to meet their educational goals • Assist students in understanding and completing degree requirements.
- Request appropriate course registration on behalf of the student and maintain the student’s schedule/degree plan.
- Advise students on policies and procedures, program requirements and related academic matters.
- Provide comprehensive outreach to students who are at risk of not meeting satisfactory academic progress.
- Identify opportunities to develop, implement, measure and improve academic success strategies
- Work closely with staff to ensure that student inquiries are strategically coordinated and addressed in a timely manner, while supporting academic integrity and policies.
- Empower students to develop accountability for their decisions and an understanding of how those decisions impact their success through the coaching process.
- Provide students with proactive guidance on acclimating to their new collegiate lifestyle and building supportive personal environments and best practices to facilitate their student success.
