A full life of service

Maria McFadden graduated from Grace in 1982 with an associates degree in religious education. She now lives in Scottsdale, AZ with her husband, Steve, of 40 years. Steve and Maria have two adult sons, two daughters-in-law, and seven grandchildren.

Maria has led a full life of serving in different ministry positions for over 40 years, including 25 years of youth ministry. Currently, she serves as the women’s Bible study leader at Grace Bible Church of Phoenix. Besides leading the ladies adult Bible study, she also watches children during the young moms meetings, serves on the church welcome committee, and supports her husband in his role as music pastor.

During her time at Grace, Maria stayed busy participating in the Grace singers, student government, basketball, and cheerleading. She especially loved her time with the Grace singers and ministering in the community.

When asked how Grace impacted her life, Maria shared that she enjoyed the helpfulness of each class, appreciated having student ministries, and found that she grew a lot through dorm and apartment life.

Thank you, Maria, for sharing your story!
