Tigers Golf Ends Season on High Note

Oct 18, 2023 | Golf

Ada, MI – The Grace Christian University golf team capped off their season with the lowest team score in program history on Tuesday afternoon, totaling 336 at a difficult Egypt Valley Country Club Ridge Course.

Ty Thiel finished off his one-season career with a career-low 85. Freshman Brandon Katsma lead the team with a 79. Cody DeNeui joined Thiel with an 85 and Randon Iserhoth finished with an 87.

The total team score breaks a record the team set earlier on in the year at Bedford Valley by one stroke.

The tournament ends a memorable year 2 for the Grace Tigers’ golf program under Head Coach Eric Zudweg, a year which resulted in significant strides from last year’s inaugural season. The team will take part in an intrasquad Ryder Cup event Friday afternoon to celebrate the year.
