Amiah Lake, Alivia TerMeer, and Ashleigh Welty all won their singles matches, and TerMeer and Lake won at third doubles against Concordia. The Tigers secured some default wins against Lourdes, but a win at second doubles from Ellie Simmons and Mikyala Reynolds and a win at fourth singles from Olivia Rachoy would prove to be the difference as the Tigers rose to victory in their final game of 2022.
Though they were shorthanded due to injury and the absence of #1 singles player Jared Lowder, the men’s team still participated and fought hard in an exhibition match vs. Lourdes.
"It was great to see the team work hard amongst the delays in weather and playing inside," said Head Coach Jon Bushen. "Many of our girls were able to win their first match of the year and it was a great win for the Women’s team to finish off the season of hard work and dedication. Looking to build off the end of the year into next year. Proud of our team. Go Tigers!"
