Jump-start Your College Career

Earn College Credits in High School

Whether you are looking to attend classes on campus, join one of our online options, or you already attend a high school that partners with Grace, we have a wide range of transferable courses that you can complete while still in high school. These credits can help jump-start your college career and put you on a path to success at Grace or the college of your choice.

Christian High School Students

We are proud to offer classes in high schools across Michigan. Your guidance office will have information on what classes you can take each semester. After speaking with them, your next step is to fill out the dual enrollment application. If you are taking classes through your high school, the State of Michigan covers the entire cost of tuition for up to ten classes.

Our current partners include:

  • Calvin Christian High School
  • Harbor Light Christian School
  • Heritage Christian Academy
  • NorthPointe Christian High School
  • The Potter’s House High School
  • South Christian High School
  • Tri-Unity Christian High School
  • Zion Christian High School

Homeschool Students

Our professors often comment on how well homeschooling students do in their dual enrollment classes. We find homeschooled students are well-equipped and prepared to earn college credits while in high school. Classes are offered both on campus and online and we hold firm to the Bible as the center of every class we offer. Common dual enrollment classes include easily transferable English, Math, History, Speech, Psychology, and Science options.

    Public School Students

Public high school students are eligible to earn college credit through Grace’s Dual Enrollment program by completing courses either on campus or via online study. Students must receive permission from their school counselor for both the courses selected and the schedule. The State of Michigan will pay the tuition for a wide variety of transferable college courses.

My experience being a dual enroll student at Grace allowed me to dip my toe into the waters of the college experience. I was able to adjust to college through a steady introducing of classes prior to becoming a freshmen. This experience helped me gain confidence in my abilities and encouraged my excitement to begin my college career. I learned quickly that Grace was somewhere I could thrive, and from this encouragement, I came prepared and excited to invest myself in the community and appreciate these next steps in my life and education.

Doing Dual Enrollment at Grace did a great service to me personally, professionally, and academically. Being able to take a college course while still in high school allowed me to learn how to interact with my peers in a college setting, how to communicate with professors, and prepared me for the more rigorous coursework that comes with college level academia.

Dual-enrolling at Grace was a great way to get a taste of the college experience before being immersed in full-time classes or on-campus living. It made me realize that Grace was the school for me and gave me a familiarity with the campus and comfortability with the staff and faculty before I started as a full-time student.

Dual Enrollment saved me a ton of money, since I was able to get an entire semester of credits done for free while I was still in high school. Dual Enrollment made my first official semester much easier since I already knew the campus layout and had already met many staff and students.
