Tips for Submitting a Strong Application

We want you to have the best chance of being accepted to the school of your choice. We understand that preparing and applying for colleges can be a stressful time. That’s why we’ve made our application process as simple and pain-free as possible! Here are some tips for submitting a strong application and making the college application process as easy and stress-free as it can be.

Start early

Although most of the application process can be completed quickly, there are a few steps that may take a little more time to compete. These include applying for financial aid and submitting transcripts.

Start as early as possible to make sure that you don’t miss any important deadlines in the application process.

Read through the requirements carefully

Unfortunately, if your application is received with missing information, your acceptance may be delayed. Be sure to read through the application requirements for your program with a careful eye so that you can send in all the necessary information on time. Your enrollment advisor will help you make sure that you submit all of the needed documents, so be sure to stay in communication with him or her.

Use the same name on all your forms

As you fill out your application, financial aid forms, transcript requests, and other documents, it’s best to use your full legal name and stay consistent on each form. For example, using Jacob on some forms and Jake on others may result in your documents being misfiled and can cause delays.

Double check before submitting

Lastly, be sure to double check all of your information before you submit it. Documents that are free of errors make for a stronger application and will also help to prevent delays and confusion.
