When you serve in the military, daily life can feel anything but predictable. Schedules change. Plans shift. And education often takes a back seat. At Grace Christian University, we’ve built something different. Our online programs are structured to offer support for military students where they are, with flexibility, personal support, and a Bible-centered curriculum.
Many of our military students are active-duty service members balancing classes with deployments or family responsibilities. Others are veterans or military spouses ready to finish a degree or begin taking classes. No matter your story, Grace walks alongside you through the entire process.
Built to Serve You Well
Online students who have served in the military or who are part of a military family can receive a discounted tuition rate of $250 per credit hour. That rate is designed to match the Tuition Assistance benefit offered by the military. In many cases, these discounts allow military students to attend Grace Christian University with no out-of-pocket cost.
This rate applies to all of our online degree programs, and there are no restrictions on when you can start. You don’t need to wait for a fall or spring semester. Classes begin throughout the year, so you can begin at the nearest start date.
A Clear Path with Real Help
Getting the assistance you need can feel like a maze, especially when military benefits are involved. You may have heard terms like “Chapter 33” or “GI Bill” but aren’t sure what applies to you. That’s where our team comes in.
As soon as you apply, you’ll be connected with an experienced academic advisor. They’ll explain your options and walk with you step by step. You’ll also complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which helps us determine any additional aid you may qualify for.
Many military students use federal programs like the Post-9/11 GI Bill, Montgomery GI Bill, or tuition assistance provided by their branch of service. Others receive benefits through veteran rehabilitation services or dependents’ education programs. Each benefit has its own requirements and paperwork. Our Financial Aid Office has decades of combined experience handling these details with care. From start to finish, we’ll help you submit the right documents, stay on track, and stay informed.
Your Experience Matters
Years of military service shape people in powerful ways. The leadership, technical skills, and training you’ve gained shouldn’t be overlooked. At Grace, we offer a free evaluation of your Joint Services Transcript to see if parts of your military experience count as college credit. Many students start with a head start because of what they’ve already learned in the field.
We also understand that military service isn’t always predictable. When duties require you to step away from your studies, we have a clear readmission policy that allows you to rejoin your program without penalties or academic setbacks. As long as your military service remains in good standing, you’ll be welcomed back with the same status you held before.
Learn. Grow. Serve.
Students who study through Grace study the truth of God’s Word in every course. if you are pursuing business, leadership & ministry, psychology, or communication, the foundation stays the same: the Bible is central to everything we do.
Students grow through mentorship, spiritual reflection, and purposeful learning. Professors care not only about the content they teach but also about the people in their classes. We create space for reflection, growth, and meaningful conversation, even in an online setting.
Students serve with their lives. Many of our military students already understand sacrifice and duty. At Grace, they prepare for even deeper impact, serving their families, local churches, communities, and workplaces with courage and biblical conviction.
We don’t view graduation as the finish line. Instead, it’s the launch point for a life of faith-filled influence.
Backed by Trust
Grace Christian University is fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and the Association for Biblical Higher Education. These credentials mean your degree holds value in both academic and professional settings.
We also follow all military education policies with care. For example, students using the Post-9/11 GI Bill or VA Rehabilitation programs won’t be penalized for delayed VA payments. You won’t lose class access, face late fees, or be forced to borrow extra money. Our team works directly with the Department of Veterans Affairs to keep your education moving forward, even when paperwork slows things down.
And if you ever have questions, we’ll be here. Kurt Postma, our Veteran Benefits Coordinator, has helped hundreds of students navigate these systems and make the most of the benefits available to them. He brings over a decade of experience in financial aid, and he knows what it means to serve with excellence.
Let’s Move Forward Together.
We believe in honoring your service. When military students enroll in our online programs, they receive more than a degree. They step into a supportive, Bible-centered community that walks with them every step of the way.
You’ve carried the weight of duty and sacrifice. Now it’s time to invest in your future.
