What's Happening

IMG_0353“Man Day 2015” was a great success again this year.  Over the past few years, Grace has created an annual event where students and staff get to enjoy some time spent together doing activities that help turn up the testosterone on campus and add to the cholesterol levels of all who participate.

The day started with a bacon-enhanced breakfast including 50 lbs. of bacon and bacon-maple doughnuts from Marge’s Donut Den.  Immediately after breakfast we had a “man talk,” followed by chopping wood, making fires, shooting at an archery range, and enjoying some dirt bike time trials. After a steak-fry for lunch, everyone enjoyed smashing a car with sledgehammers.

Special thanks to Pablo Ciscomani for coordinating the day and for the efforts of special guests; Chef John Sprague, Nathan Johnson, Scott Spooner, and Anthony Thompson for helping with specific areas of the day.

The men of Grace will always remember “Man Day,” and all of the laughs and fun that was had.
