Last weekend, students took an overnight trip to Newaygo State Park! It was a warm weekend with beautiful fall colors! Students soaked up their time off-campus with campfire fellowship, disc golf, hammocking, reading, and star gazing! Our group was made up of freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors on the trip and with all different majors and backgrounds, the campfire seemed to dismiss all of the diversity and created an intimate atmosphere of connecting and learning about each other. A night away from Grand Rapids  also provided a clear sky with many shooting stars; some stated they saw at least six! Community Life is excited to bring another camping experience in the spring.
